They spent two days earlier this week participating in a Leadership Training Institute at MTU. We can't wait to see their plans to impact our students and community! The Panthers XC team wrapped up their regular season on Thursday at the Copper Mountain Conference Final in Ironwood.
In the MS boys race, Benett Larson placed 7th and Karl Zimmer placed 4th.
In the MS girls race, Kate Palosaari placed 8th and Kayla Aho placed 7th.
In the varsity boys race, Rylan Larson placed 33rd, Seamus Kenny placed 31st, Henry Holombo placed 29th, Nick Aho placed 21st, and Kalvin Kytta placed 1st with his winning time of 17:00.
In the varsity girls race, Clare Zimmer placed 29th, Lily Etelamaki placed 14th, Paige Danison placed 12th, Jordan Holombo placed 11th, and Sylvia Aho placed 3rd.
Copper Mountain Conference All-Conference Honors were also determined at the conclusion of the meet.

Our 8th grade science students spent Thursday afternoon as citizen scientists! It was a beautiful day to collect macroinvertebrates and assess the health of the Pilgrim River!
